A two component, high solids, low VOC, micaceous iron oxide epoxy coating developed from proprietary polymer technology that allows for rapid curing and recoatability even at low temperatures.
As a high build intermediate coat providing excellent barrier corrosion protection in a high performance system for use in hostile environments such as offshore structures, bridges, chemical and petroleum processing plants, power plants, pulp and paper mills and industrial buildings. Can be applied directly to steel substrates as a barrier coating in non-aggressive environments .
The pigmentation with micaceous iron oxide improves both the barrier effect and the reworkability of the system after longer periods of time. This makes the product ideal for application at the manufacturing facility, with the coating system then being completed after the parts have been transported to the construction site. Intercure 420's fast curing and short overcoating intervals allow for flexible production and use of the product for both new construction and maintenance coatings .
